　My major was "Indonesian Language & Culture".
　My first trip to Indonesia was 1992, I was a high school student. This trip was a part of my high school program and I visited Jakarta & Yogyakarta for 2 weeks with other students. I was very surprised and shocked because Indonesian high school students knew Japanese culture, history and language, by contrast, I know nothing!
　This is why I chose "Indonesian Language & Culture" as my major.

President of Indonesia is... Megawati Sukarnoputri (5th, 7/23/2001~)
the currency is... Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) *Do not mix up "rupiah" and "rupee" :)
the coat of arm is... called "Garuda (Golden Eagle)".
the national flag is... called "Merah Putih". made up from red on upper half and white on bottom.
the motto is... "Bhinneka Tunggal lka (Unity in Diversity)"
Indonesian school in Japan is located in... Meguro (Tokyo)
